Dentures: Usually the first 6 months is the most difficult part of getting dentures as not only do you have to learn to use them, adjustments on sore spots need to be made.  On a more positive note, the majority of people do adapt to dentures very well and after the first 6 months things can only get better.  You may also read up on implant supported overdentures and ask your dentist about them.

The best: Way and what I use in my office and recommend to patients is to purchase powdered dw detergent. Place teeth in a 2 c container that can take boiling water, place 1 tblsp of detergent and add water on the boil. Let sit over night, scrub with a stiff brush (kitchen sink type) then rinse. Repeat as needed.

Wide variation but: The only way to find the cost of dentures is to consult with a dentist.  The cost of not doing this is increased rist of bone loss, recurring infections.  Ask about alternatives for dentures, such as gum disease treatments and implants.  Do not put it off, also do not assume dentures are the only solution.

You need help: It's bacteria that damage teeth.  You need to find a good dentist, one that will take the time to help you learn how to care for your mouth.  Talk to the dentist about flossing, Fluoride rinses, electric toothbrushes, water piks, disclosing tablets, and whatever else the dentist recommends.  You can't do this alone...Find help.

Fixed or removable ?: If the teeth are made of porcelain, the can be polished to remove surface stains but will not change their color. Plastic teeth may have absorbed the stain over time and will look yellow, no matter what is done. Speak to your dentist regarding what might work best for you.

No one best: Two most popular ones are fixodent and poligrip. Different patients prefer each one. Consider a dental check-up (even if you have full dentures) to see if they need to be relined or remade so that you don&#x27;t have to use any adhesive (or less). Also consider implant retained prostheses.

Options : Replacing your back teeth is important.  These are a few ways to do this.  The best replacement is with implants.  A fixed bridge can be done if you have teeth on either side of the missing ones.  Another option is a removable partial.  Talk to a dentist and find out which option is best for you.  Good luck.
