Really black?: I think you probably just mean the skin is discolored or darker than your normal skin. This should improve with time especially if you wear a light sunscreen with an spf of 30.

Short/long term: Depending on the size &amp; location this may  benefit from moist heat several times a day. If it is a small abscess it may drain &amp; heal. If it doesn't respond it may need surgical drainage to heal. Discuss it with your doc.

It is possible.: They may be ingrown hairs and you may keep touching them. They can be darker after irritation. You can apply a bleaching cream. But you have to treat the pimples first. Thanks.

Concerns: Much as it is tempting - please do not pick/squeeze at pimples! If they haven't matured this can cause more irritation and cause more risk for secondary infection. You indicate this has happened before - the open wound may become infected with MRSA. Talk to your doctor for a medical treatment to help you reduce your pimple outbreaks. Soap/water/neosporin - if pain or discharge see MD asap
