Dentist: You might have a tooth infection. Dental problems can be very concerning.  You should see a dentist for eval   they can provide meds for your pain too.   You can also try nsaids and or tylenol (acetaminophen).

Regular ibuprofen OK: As directed, regular (NOT PM) has no reported interaction problems, but inform your Dr or dentist too - just to be sure about you in particular. Anbesol as directed should also be fine. I hope you feel better real soon!

Facial pain : I would be concerned that you may have an abscess on the left. Other possibilities include TMJ or an  ear  infection. I was start with my primary care provider but you'll probably end up needing  a dentist.

Sounds like you need: to be rechecked by your doctor. An uncomplicated ear infection should not be causing facial swelling as you have described. If you are already on an antibiotic, you can apply warm compresses and take ibuprofen, but you probably will also need to be seen again.

Left Side Head Pain: Where in the left side of your head are you noticing these intermittent symptoms?  Do you take blood pressure medicines? Any family history of stroke or other brain disorders? Any involvement with your vision? Dizziness? Vertigo? Could be dealing with migraines vs occipital neuralgia (greater &amp; lesser nerves run from base of skull near ear to the top of the head. Pair on both sides of the head.)

Could be many things: Pain of any kind is an indicator that there is cause to see a doctor.  My advise would be to see your dentist or prosthodontist first.  They will be able to check your teeth & gums to make sure there is no infection, & also evaluate the function of your jaws for TMJ disorder.  You may also consider visiting an ear, nose and throat doctor for evalution of the sinus and rule out infection.  Best!
