Temporal Arteritis: It sounds like you may have temporal arteritis.   It usually occurs over the age of 50.  This can be serious, so see your physician or go to the er promptly.  You should first have a test of your sedimentation rate (esr).  Treatment for temporal arteritis requires prednisone, which should give prompt releif, although treatment may be required for a year.

Many possibilities: Rashes are difficult to accurately determine without actually seeing the rash. However, rashes near the eye need to be evaluated because of the possibility of a herpes infection spreading to the eye. Get seen by your doctor.

Dry eye?: You may have dry eye. If you wear contact lenses, there may be a problem with the fit or overwear/overuse. Try some artificial tear drops over-the-counter, but if your vision is affected, see an eye doctor asap.

Migraines: Hi Ruvi, very suspicious for migraine headache. You should see your doctor for evaluation. At times migraines do not go away on their own and need some pharmacologic help. Your doctor can help. In the meantime, dark rooms and sunglasses can help with eye symptoms. Aspirin may be helpful for the pain as well. Go see your doc. Hope that helps

Likely Dry Eyes: The most common cause of random burning and red eyes is dry eye. Allergies can have a similar appearance but you usually know the cause.  Dry eyes can present as burning, stinging, watery, or bloodshot.  If it persists despite several days' use of artificial tears 4 times per day I would recommend you see an eye doctor
