i'm in pain from eye, it is sensitive to light. i accidentally injured my eye with my phone a week , the redness had gone done and it is not as painful like before but the problem is when i come into a bright room or look outside in the sun?

See ophthalmologist: A minor scratch on the eye usually heals in 24-48 hours, so if you are still having discomfort and photosensitivity, it is time to get an evaluation from an ophthalmologist.  You may have traumatic uveitis and medicated eye drops will help if confirmed.

Likely iritis: I would say you have recurrent inflammation of the anterior segment called Iritis (Uveitis), likely related to your systemic condition of low back pain. If you know you have ankylosing spondylitis (inflammatory arthritis of the low back), then this is associated w/ it. You need a complete ophthalmological exam by an Eye MD, who will evaluate &amp; treat. With a recurrent history, you need a work up.

i have a problem with my eyes.my vision is clear, however, my eyes are  painful,  dry ,red and often feel like i haven't slept or i swam in salt water.they are also sensitive to light(sun and computer).should i consult an optometrist?

Eyes: Red eyes can be for various reasons.   Conjunctivitis either viral, bacterial or allergic a possibility. Phototoxicity. Although more likely in older people glaucoma a consideration. People that look at computer screens a lot can develop red eyes.

good day.  i think i may have flash burn / arc eye.  my right eye is extremely sore and red. sensitive to light.  went to the pharmacist last night and was given "spersallerg".  not sure if its doing anything for my eye.  was extremely painful last ?

Trial tears: Not knowing what your systemic health history is, i would trial a conservative recommendation of preservative free artificial tear drops that are available overt the counter at your local drug store. Use them as indicates every one to two hours to see if symptomatic relief occurs. Sunglasses may comfort you too. If no improvement you are obligated to see eye md to diagnose cause of your eye issues.

Eye trauma: You may have iritis and/or a hyphema.  Go see an eye doctor.
