Yes, See eye MD: You are likely affected by a viral infection and the pain and photophobia may be due to a viral inflammation of the cornea. I recommend an examination to determine the best treatment. You can always use artificial tears, plenty of oral fluids and tylenol (acetaminophen) for comfort. See an eye md.
