Not serious: The kidney cyst is a round pouch of smooth, thin-walled tissue  usually filled with fluid. Simple cysts are the most common type.  They are not the same thing as polycystic kidney disease, which is  progressive and  can lead to kidney failure  The size of these cysts may also increase with age. They  usually do not cause symptoms. If  found during an ultrasound or CAT scan they are frequently watched. If necessary they can be aspirated and  the space filled with a solution that contains alcohol

Yes more than likely: 1.2 cm is 12 mm.  The right lobe can be broken down into posterior (segments 6 and 7) and anterior (segments 5 and 8) sectors and inferior (segments 5 and 6) and superior  (segments 7 and 8) sectors.  So by the description of your scans, you have a liver cyst measuring 1.2 cm (about half an inch) in segment 6.  Very common finding, usually without symptoms.  Get ultrasound once a year.

i ve few liver cysts, biggest 7--8 mm, plz advice me,when next scan should be to rule out minor possibility of malignancy or another other issue?thank

Liver cysts: are benign and don't represent cancer or turn into cancer. No further scans are needed.

Likely..: unfortunately, any solid kidney lesion is suspect for neoplasm until removed and examined by the pathologist

Cysts: are common in certain organs especially the ovaries, kidneys and liver: the majority are benign; however must be carefully followed. The sizes you give are not worrisome.

Variable: This can vary from no follow up to imaging every 3-6 months. This depends on the type of lesions you have. Simple cysts can grow but are benign. They are only acted upon (such as unroofing) to drain if large AND causing symptoms but i don't want to assume you have such a cyst. You should see a GI doctor or liver specialist to discuss what follow up is needed

0.5-1.0 mm: This is  the limit usually quoted for CT scan and MRI screening, ultrasounds are much less sensitive

You need evaluation: Yes, you are appropriately concerned. When you pursue further evaluation, your doctor will want to know your exposure risks, travel history, etc. Also, is this the first time the cyst was identified, or has it enlarged, changed in appearance, or become symptomatic?  What liver imaging modality was accomplished?  Best of luck with your testing and treatment.
