Isometric exercises: Isometric (push and hold) type exercises are beneficial. To strengthen paraspinous muscles, many patients benefit from rowing, swimming, stationary bike, yoga as well.

Structural problem: I have found that this is associated with a postural avoidance problem. There are three main areas of support that can cause posture to change.  Your bite relationship descending down, feet ascending up, or hips both directions.  You may have one, any combination, or rarely all three.  Tx may involve a TMJ dentist, chiropractor/physical therapist, and/or foot orthotics.  Other areas out of alignmt.

Scoliosis: Please have him checked by a qualified pediatric orthopedist or pediatrician. Any curvature of the spine needs to be addressed early, before it progresses to cause disabilities.

See your doctor: Problems like these can only be correctly handled by your doctor in person.  He/she needs to listen to you, perform an examination and possibly run labs or other tests. That's the only way he/she can find out what's going on and what to do about it.

Check Spine: He needs to be examined by your childs pediatrician.Usually it is caused by problem with spine called scoliosis.
So discuss with the pediatrician if there is real asymmetry check spine.

Swollen shoulder: Visible shoulder swelling often means fluid in the joint or bursa. This may mean inadequate control of RA that can damage your joints. I recommend seeing your rheumatologist. You may benefit from aspiration or a medication adjustment to help you feel better & better protect your joints.

Cuff strengthening: Try your best to maintain a full range of shoulder motion. With your arm bent at a right angle (90 degrees) raise your arms upward from your side. Have a friend provide some resistance to raising your arm too. Rotator cuff tear is not present if no pain with resistance. Pain with resistance may be either an inflamed rotator cuff, partial thickness tear or small full tear. Phys therapy if possible.

neck is straight on one side and curved on the other. i have slight scoliosis and the shoulder on the side where neck is straight is higher. normal?.

Probably: It is not uncommon to have shoulder asymmetry in relation to scoliosis although what you are describing may be more in relation to your cervical spine curvature. Normally, the cervical spine is fairly straight (from left to right) and has lordosis (curvature front to back).

Chiro is not medical: A chiropractor is not a medical doctor. It is better to see a physiatrist (also known as a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation doctor) or see an Orthopedic Spine doctor. Always have a primary care doctor to check for general problems, and he or she can refer to the other specialists. After seeing the doctors, Physical Therapy can offer some help, depending on what the diagnosis is.

body is messed up really tight and one shoulder is higher than the other. i think its the cause of my chronic headaches but im afraid to go to a chiropractor. is there anything else i can do to get this fixed? thank you?

Many options: There are many superb chiropractors who may really help but some are less trustworthy; I prefer chiropractors who use gentle techniques like Direct Non-Force and Network.
