Depends: Its important to make sure the sleeping environment is comfortable and cool. Im guessing in Mississippi it may be too warm for comfort, so adjust the sleeping arrangements  would be a good first step. Dehydration can be a serious problem for a child if severe, but its hard to tell without more information here, if you have doubts, see a pediatrician and discuss in detail

Discuss With Doctor: Sweating is body's only mechanism for heat loss; triggered by thermoregulatory needs &amp; emotions; can be a benign trait or linked to diseases, toxins, &amp; more. Over-bundling is common cause in babies. If child has had normal exams/development/activity, has no fatigue/sweating while feeding, then significant illness unlikely. Discuss with doctor at 2 yr exam which is now due for a focused evaluation.

why is it that when my partner and i are engaged in sexual activities, i tend to feel so hot and sweaty despite my room being cold? that's also why i drink water afterward as sometimes my pillow is drenched in my sweat. is this completely normal?

: Sex is a physical activity. Do you also sweat profusely during other exertion or exercise?. Try letting your partner do more of the work and you becoming more passive during sex if the sweating is an issue for your partner. Failing that, place a well positioned fan to cool you during your sexual activities.

lower back, abdominal & side pain. lower back was the first to start about 2 weeks ago. night sweats where pillow is wet but not the bed. er visit 2 days ago due to bad pain in lower areas mentioned. doc said epididymitis. what could it be?

: These symptoms are not from epididymitis which causes testicular area pain/ discomfort. You need to see a good MD soon who listens to you does a thoro exam and does appropriate tests. In the meantime drink plenty of water, take OTC ibuprofen and use a heating pad. Hope you feel better

Night sweats...: ...are a sign of fever. It could be serious; common causes (especially in southern Africa) include tuberculosis, HIV, and other potentially dangerous problems. See a doctor or clinic. Take your temperature a few times a day for a few days, record the results, and take them with you when seen. Good luck!

Doctor can examine: Rashes are hard to describe in words. Usually, a doctor has to look at a rash to see what it might be. For common rashes such as eczema, mild reactions to plants or chemicals, excessive dryness, or little itchy bumps, over-the-counter Hydrocortisone 1% cream two or three times a day for 1 week, usually helps. Sometimes rashes start for no obvious reason, and then continue, especially if scratched.

2yr old with heart disease has been having terrible night sweats to the point his pillows and sheets are soaked. but he isn't warm. should i worry?

Yes: Would get this baby to a pediatrician ASAP and describe what is going on in detail.  Without knowing more about his condition cannot really comment beyond that, but what you describe is not normal and should be investigated. Good luck.
