Why is it that when my partner and i are engaged in sexual activities, i tend to feel so hot and sweaty despite my room being cold? that's also why i drink water afterward as sometimes my pillow is drenched in my sweat. is this completely normal?

Sex is a physical activity. Do you also sweat profusely during other exertion or exercise?. Try letting your partner do more of the work and you becoming more passive during sex if the sweating is an issue for your partner. Failing that, place a well positioned fan to cool you during your sexual activities.
