Discuss With Doctor: Sweating is body's only mechanism for heat loss; triggered by thermoregulatory needs & emotions; can be a benign trait or linked to diseases, toxins, & more. Over-bundling is common cause in babies. If child has had normal exams/development/activity, has no fatigue/sweating while feeding, then significant illness unlikely. Discuss with doctor at 2 yr exam which is now due for a focused evaluation.
