Palpitations: Palpitations have many causes from anxiety through anatomic and physiologic abnormalities. The feeling of bounding usually relates to the volume of blood pumped with each palpitation. There is no simple single answer for the question. If you're bothered by the feeling should consult a dr. To see if the problem can be clarified. GI gas could cause palpitations

im 30 with anxiety. recently got scared of having esophageal cancer now i started having heart burn and burping a lot and weird feeling in throat. could my anxiety be causing these symptoms? chest x-ray was clear 2 months ago. i tend to google a lot?

: A chest x-ray would be suboptimal in ruling out esophageal pathology and usually an upper endoscopy is needed in such cases. Otherwise you have it right, your anxiety will need to be addressed, less to no googling is part of the treatment.

Stress, excitement, irritants both physical and chemical, pressure like a hiatal hernia or esophageal push or pull, and primary heart things, the causes are very many in number. Esophageal spasm feels like a grab in the chest and lasts as a single feeling longer than palpitations each one of which is very s short.

See below: Esophagus spasm would be more likely to produce pain whereas palpitation is usually a fluttering sensation. The word palpitation refers to the feeling in the chest but it usually implies that the problem is an irregular pulse. An EKG would determine if the heart rhythm is regular or not. Sometimes we have to hook the patient up to a 24 hour monitor to catch the irregularity.

Esophageal spasm : This can be esophageal spasm. You position good have you see a gastroenterologist. You can check this and other possible causes like gallbladder, other intestinal syndromes. This can help you evaluate your symptoms.

Follow with your doctor as soon as you can.  Things that can cause pains in chest and ribcage include heartburn, pneumonia, gallbladder problems, infectious processes, liver disease, kidney problems, heart attacks, or blood clots.

Wearing a heart monitor for 48 hours or longer will demonstrate extrasystoles&amp;determine the type,their frequency,significance&amp; whether they coincide with your symptoms as you'll note on the diary when you experience symptoms. Concerning: There could be multiple causes for chest pain. This could be related to spasms of coronary arteries ( arteries of your heart). You may wanna get ekg, echocardiogram and possibly a stress test. Please go to your pcp and get other causes of chest pain ruled out before you proceed with cardiologist referral.

Do you have DES?: Spastic motility disorders are defined by esophageal manometry, but can be intermittent like diffuse esophageal spasm (des).  Of course, esophageal spasm pain can mimic coronary artery disease sufficiently that a cardiac evaluation should first rule out heart ; vessel problems. Also, consider gerd, esophageal tears, acute foreign body impaction or penetration, acute gastro-esophageal hernia, more.

can you develop chronic belching after a heart attack or a heart failure?

: You could if you develop a nervous habit of swallowing air. Heart attack or heart failure per se would not cause belching.
