Surgery  is the last option.

Tendinosis: The lateral epicondyle of the elbow is the bony origin for muscles that extend the wrist. The medial epicondyle for muscles that flex the wrist. Lateral epicondylitis is also know as tennis elbow and medial is known as golfer's elbow. Repetitive movements in both of these activities and other occupational/recreational activities cause a chronic tendinosis of the respective myotendinous group.

Get to an: orthopedic surgeon.  Oral and topical anti inflammatory agents could help.  Also speak with your PT for exercise, stimulation, and activities to avoid.
