Tylenol (acetaminophen): Apparently  studies indicate Tylenol (acetaminophen) may be linked to some elevation in blood pressure and you monitor dosing.  A toxic dose is &gt; 4000 mg/day ( it is a liver toxin) so ask you doctor about use if you have liver disease   and NO alcohol.  ASA has not been  linked to increase in HTN. Please discuss use with your doctor, as he knows about your  HTN

Rare: Anaphylaxis to Tylenol (acetaminophen) is very rare but there are case reports. I recommend seeing a board-certified allergist for further evaluation.

Different pain meds: Ultracet (tramdol and acetaminophen) is a combination of Tramadol(Ultam)  is an opoid pain medication and acetaminophen(Tylenol) and is a stronger pain med than Aspirin and Extra strength Tylenol.We do not use Aspirin for pain that much as it can cause stomach bleeding if taken in therapeutic doses.
Depends on the pain level.Ultracet (tramdol and acetaminophen) is stronger than extra strength Tylenol but can be habit forming and can cause constipation

Low back pain: There are rare cases of anaphylaxis to Acetaminophen and the dyes in the coating. Tylenol (acetaminophen) is safe in breast feeding if you do not have an allergy to the medication. Discuss with your obstetrician to ensure safety for you and your baby.

i have ibs-d and gastritis. i know i can't take nsaids but why do i get stabbing pain (lower left large intestine) with cramps when i take coated tylenol?  the pain comes on 12 hrs later and lasts the whole day. every time i take it.

Abdominal pains : Probably best answered by your GI physician. It would not be unusual for a patient with a chronic GI problem to react adversely to certain pain medicines. Abdominal pain, however, is not a common side effect of Tylenol, unless related to the liver. I would suggest avoiding Tylenol and talking to your physician about how it might relate to your IBS.

See below: Enteric coated just means the pill is coated with a material to prevent it from dissolving in the stomach. This avoids stomach upset in some patients. Interference with other medicines is not an issue either way.
