normally we don't measure the endometrial stripe in young women in their 20's as it will vary depending on when you are in the menstrual cycle.  Discuss with your obgyn who knows your history if your sonogram was normal

Your uterus sounds normal.  You don't say where the cystic lesion is, but most likely it's in the ovary.  If so, it needs evaluation, since it's not normal, and likely some type tumor.  If the cystic lesion is in the uterus, i'm not sure what to think.

Pelvic ultrasounds are typically ordered in non-reproductive age women when there is pelvic pain or abnormal bleeding. The endometrial stripe is measured to determine if there is uterine wall cancer. Fibroids are benign tumors of the uterine that can bleed and cause discomfort. Cysts may be a source of pain as well. The ordering provider can determine whether gynecology referral is indicated.

If concerned could either biopsy or take Progesterone to thin out or check seral sonograms.

Will depend what your provider means. Prominent could refer to stripe thickeness or brightness on sono but usually thickness. Much more of an issue in women after menopause where thickness could be a sign of abnormal tissue buildup. In younger women on pills/patches/iud stripe should be thin. Not on hormones the stripe will vary by time of month. Most prominent before cycle.Can be seen with polyps
