Endocet: Endocet dose?  Endocet 2.5mg/ 325 mg ? ENDOCET 5 mg/325 mg? ENDOCET 7.5 mg/325 mg ? ENDOCET 10 mg/325 mg ? Directions are 1 to 2 every 6 hours as needed for Endocet 2.5mg/325 and 1 every six hours as needed for higher doses. Looks like you took too many. TAKE ONLY AS DIRECTED !!!!!!

Many days: If you are a football player (and 41 is a tad old for that), and you are being drug-tested, hydrocodone will stay in urine for 2-3 days, depending on how much you took how often for how long.  It can be as much as 5 days with higher doses and more sensitive testing.  If you are using it by prescription, testing shouldn't matter. If not, STOP and get help stopping if you need it.

The opiate content.: Hydrocodone 5/500 contains 5 mg of hydrocodone and 5oomg of tylenol (acetaminophen) while Endocet 10-325 contains 10mg of oxycodone and 325 my of tylenol (acetaminophen). Both hydrocodone and oxycodone are opiates and controlled substances. Pound per pound however, oxycodone is much stronger than hydrocodone.

No narcotics.: You should not be playing sports on narcotics. You can cause untold damage.  Find out the why you are having the pain and treat it appropriately. Taking narcotic or sedative  medications or drinking alcohol and playing sports is not a good idea at all.

Of : Of the medications you listed, none of them are known to cause leg/ankle swelling or fluid retention.  Amitriptyline can cause some cardiac arrhythmias, however, that potentially could lead to fluid retention, but this is much more common in patients with a preexisting heart problem.

I would let your primary care physician know about this swelling.  It's probably unrelated to any medication you're taking (especially if the swelling just started and you've been on these meds for a while), but i think you have something else going on that's causing the swelling.
