A few ideas: Urine copper is a better way to rule out Wilson's. I trust hepatitis C was also negative. I'm not worried in the least about your lymph nodes; we see nodes like these all the time in healthy folks. Trusting you don't drink. Your fatty liver may just be your body's way of asking for a return to that fitness-focused lifestyle from your teens. Best wishes.

Manage it: This is worrisome and while this doesn't qualify as any kind of cirrhosis, you could end up with it. I trust hepatitis c, Wilson's, and a few others have been ruled out. Stay trim and fit and ask about meds.

Possible: Many things can cause a slight elevation in alt. A repeat level should be done to monitor for trend. If continues abnormal then workup is indicated.

Possibly related: You need follow up with the doctor that ordered all those tests. They could be related and there is treatment available but that decision needs to be made between you and your physicians. There are some simple remedies that can treat mild GERD, but I'm not sure that lifestyle changes will be enough to fix your underlying issue. Hope this helps

Gastrin: Markedly elevated gastrin levels can be caused by certain tumors which also can cause multiple peptic ulcers. Milder elevations are caused by lack of normal stomach acids caused by use of ppi medications or by development of gastric atrophy. I don't think NAFLD is related. Your gastroenterologist will order appropriate tests to determine the cause of your elevated gastrin levels.

Fatty liver: Fatty liver (Steatosis) could be alcohol induced or non-alcohol induced. Fatty liver could lead to inflamed liver (Steatohepatitis) and SGPT start to raise. 1st thing to do is stop drinking alcohol (if you drink). In general burning fat from the liver is achieved by 30 minute walks for three times a week or aerobic excercize (stationary bike or treadmill. Reduce fat in diet. Rx Vit E or Lovaza.

AMA?: I presume you had an ama (anti mitochondrial antibody) checked as part of a workup to investigate why your liver enzymes are elevated. To determine if fatty liver is the cause, other causes are excluded. Ask your doctor for the 'reference range' of the ama test.

Need more info: Do you drink and how much do you weight? Alcohol and obesity related liver cell damage are the commonest causes for elevated liver enzymes. If you drink, stop entirely for about three months and re do the test. If you are overweight, losing weight will help.
