Bacteria: I assume you are referring to vaginal discharge. If the woman is not sexually active, it is most likely bacterial vaginosis. Caused by changes in the acidity of the vagina and possibly bacteria introduced by aging changes poor hygiene, incontinence etc. If there is blood in the  discharge it may look grayish as well. Either way, this should be checked by a medical practitioner.

They may not tell the doctor everything that is going on.  They are of the generation that does not ask questions. I admit to a bias: I'd try everything before anti-psychotics in the elderly. If the delusion is benign (causes no real harm), i'd even try to let it be. I.E., there's no problem in thinking that they once was a movie star. There is a problem with thinking they're a millionaire & writing bad checks. I'd still use behavioral techniques in that case. Try to find a geriatric behavioral psychologist. It's worth an effort.

Platelets are fragments of very large cells in the marrow called megakaryocytes and function as physical building material to plug the hole when there is active bleeding. Without them you could bleed to death from even a minor cut. At a level of 10 there are effectively no platelets.

Ulcers: I think you need to have it examined to see what the source of the ulcers are. They range from poor diet, teeth related, medication side effects to autoimmune problems. They may need to be cultured or biopsied. You are correct in that they may uncommonly be a route fro infection
