Yes: A nurse practitioner is a fully trained provider who can do a complete physical examination, including a prostate exam.

vit d recently 12.3 and np prescribed 50,000 iu 2x a week for next 3 months. should that amount be taken that long?

May be: It does take a large dose to make up for the deficit of vitamin D. Alternatively you could take 4000 units of vitamin D3 daily from now on. If you discontinue the vitamin D supplement you are likely to fall into the deficient state again.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine, if you are under 27 years of age.

my b-12 binding capacity is 745; b-12 range is 464. should i be concerned? going to np in a few weeks, but curious now.

B12 issues: Your laboratory values appear to be in the normal range for these tests. These values do not by themselves give cause for concern.

recently had my bp checked , was high(146/82)np increased my amlodipine 5mg to 10mg.i check it at home  3x day , always fine. should i stick to 5 mg?

High blood pressure: I would recommend a blood pressure diary and calibrating your blood pressure cuff.  If your blood pressure is elevated, then i would increase the dosage.

Nutrition: Your doctor may be one who does not know much about nutrition, thus may not know what to suggest. Only recently have medical schools and continuing medical education courses begun to do more about nutrition. BP 100/49 is GOOD: BP values usually fluctuate 10+ points throughout the day so your values are part of  the normal variation.

my hida scan results show 30% functioning and i was told it was not within the normal range yesterday after the scan. my doc. np says this is normal?

Borderline result?: Surgeons may consider cholecystectomy appropriate to your symptom presentation and database (lab results, other x-rays, exam). Certainly if your liver tests are abnormal further liver/biliary testing will likely be recommended. See your doctor who can direct you to the next appropriate test.

Yes: Simply because this is worrying you. Dangerous nodes are or soon become obviously abnormal, and brief delay in the diagnosis of the major concern (Hodgkin's) is not really critical. Nodes like yours are common and they're almost always your friends, but if you felt the need to ask us, you deserve a second opinion.

my sons were both diagnosed with strep a week apart and my youngest (7yo and 61 lbs) prescribed 15ml bid for 10 days my oldest (9yo 65lbs) prescribed 5ml bid?? seems weird, i just want them to both get better.they were seen by different np?

: Needs more details: diagnosis of their conditions (strep throat, cellulitis, etc) and the name(s) of oral medications.
