Check it out: Most likely fatty tumor or fibrous tumor, less likely possibly femoral hernia.  See a general surgeon.  Sounds like nothing serious but in general if we can't get a tissue sample, we are not 100% sure of what it is.  Don't lose sleep over it but get it checked out.

what causes an small egg size lump on the front side of the knee that is very painful? could this be hoffa pad ? please help i am in a lot of pain.

Bursitis: A soft and painful ( and sometimes red and warm ) lump on the front of the knee is known as prepatellar bursitis.  This is an inflammation of the sack of fluid that overlies your kneecap.  Treatment is absolute avoidance of pressure on the knee / rest and non steroidal meds. Sometimes removal of the fluid and injection of steroids is required.

Hard lump: It is hard to know for sure what it is but some people may develop ' keloid' ( hard, indurated growth) at site  of incision.

Could be: Swollen parotid (salivary) gland. Sometimes the duct that delivers saliva to the inside of the cheek can get plugged. If you notice dryness on that side when eating, that's a clue. There are also diseases that can cause glands to swell. Get checked by your doctor.

Lump: Anything like that merits an exam .  See your dermatologist or family doc.

Check with: your surgeon.  It could be normal swelling,but post operative bleeding is always possible.  Healing is a gradual process that can take up to several months.

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see a doctor to ascertain if the lesion should be excised.

Why wait: If the swelling is symptomatic or of cosmetic concern you can have it operated now. There is no rationale for waiting to have a child.

Bump on head: These bumps on the head can be very dangerous. That said most likely you have a small superficial bleeding under the skin which will take us several days to resolve; keep putting ice on it. Take some pain reliever. Especially if you blacked out or lost consciousness you should be hyperware for dizziness blurred vision or any other worrisome sign. In that case you should go to the emergency room.
