Yes: Take your medications as prescribed by your doctor.  Normally Effexor (venlafaxine) is used in am, since it can disrupt sleep. Klonopin is used at night, but can be dosed throughout the day for severe anxiety or seizures.

Sleep study: Drowsiness and sleepiness is a common side effect of many medications and can be additive when multiple agents are being taken. I would suggest having your PCP help you get a sleep study and EEG to determine if poor sleep quality is an undiagnosed contributing factor. Do you also have hypertension, gerd, snoring, high BMI...

what could be the reasons im experiencing bitter tasting saliva and only with eating sugar or sweets on and off, and suddenly. i take effexor, omeprazole, and occasionally klonopin. bmi of 30. female, caucasian, 33?

: I assume your dental hygiene &amp; oral health are fine. Decreased saliva production with subsequent dryness of the mouth is a cause of bitter saliva. Dozens if meds can reduce production of saliva. I suggest that your pharmacist inform you whether any of your meds can do this.

: That is a very high risk combination so you better check with the prescribing physician and do not take someone else's medication. Take care.

i took 1050 mg's of effexor (venlafaxine) and some pills of klonopin. is this ok? i just wanted to numb the pain.

Usually not for pain: Did your physician prescribe these for pain or something else. Usually Effexor (venlafaxine) is for depression and Klonopin is for anxiety. Rarely Effexor (venlafaxine) is used for neuralgic type of pain.

i have been out of klonopin for 24 hours, effexor (venlafaxine) for 48 hours, and remeron for 48 hours.  i am working on getting them filled.  should i be concerned?  what should i do?

Difficult Situation: You're likely going to have withdrawal symptoms. I would see the doctor who prescribed those medicines to get you restarted on those medicines. If unavailable the emergency room would be an appropriate place to  consider. Good luck.

on zoloft 200 for ocd & in therapy. worked for a month and then stopped. psy wants me to switch to effexor (venlafaxine) & stay on klonopin. are drugs necessary?

Depends: Every situation is different so treatment must be tailored to you specifically. Tell your doctor you want to see how you do without meds. Discuss pros/cons and if this is the right time to stop meds. You'll need doctor to oversee tapering/stopping.  If OCD symptoms return, you can decide what's best. Stay connected with your doctor. Effexor is a medication for depression and anxiety
Klonopin (clonazepam) can cause sore throat, which is not a common side effect of Effexor
At age 41, stressors of relationships, separation, divorce, parenting,  work  can cause anxiety and depression.

Could be meds!: Are you taking venlafaxine and Lexapro (escitalopram) together or was Lexapro (escitalopram) stopped? Also check with your dr. The dose of venlafaxine and what time of day you take it. Sometimes adjusting the dose and time of day corrects the problem. Any history of seizures or sleep terrors/nightmares? Discuss a sleep study.Of course this all depends upon how frequent these occur and how disruptive to your life the sx are.

Depends: Talk to your primary care doctor to see if he or she is comfortable tapering you off these meds. If not, he or she should be able to refer you to someone who can.
