I took 1050 mg's of effexor (venlafaxine) and some pills of klonopin. is this ok? i just wanted to numb the pain.

Usually not for pain: Did your physician prescribe these for pain or something else. Usually Effexor (venlafaxine) is for depression and Klonopin is for anxiety. Rarely Effexor (venlafaxine) is used for neuralgic type of pain.

Call your doc now: No it's not ok to take those meds that way, unless your doc ok'd it. Are you taking it to numb physical or emotional pain? Either way it is not good. Call your prescribing doc now.
