Reasonable: Chances are it is a cyst.  It will show on CT and can be characterized better.  Also, if that does not give sufficient information an MRI can be considered.  The fact that you found it within a year bodes well.

Not likely a stone: The lack of shadowing generally means that it is not a Stone. Is it a complex cyst or a tumor or a benign mass? That depends on a myriad of factors. While doctors may have their suspicions, the proof is in a biopsy. If the pt is otherwise healthy, it may not be worthwhile to biopsy an incidental lesion. TTYD or use HealthTap Prime. Good luck!

: They cannot tell what it is on US.  Could be anigomylipoma a tumor of fat and blood vessels. And to give better idea of what it is the USDr recommended CT to learn more.   Discuss with your Drs there who know you.

This is a finding usually associated with various chronic renal parenchymal disease. When decreased can represent swelling from acute infection or renal vein obstruction.

Not a CYST: A nodule in the kidney represents a mass which needs to be evaluated. If it is a simple cyst then it can be assumed to be benign. An echogenic nodule is something other than a simple cyst and usually means it is solid and requires further evaluation, usually by ct.

The vast: majority of these types of findings are of little or no concern.  However, the ultrasound appearance is not specific, and you may need an additional test such as CT to confirm it.  Tal to your doctor about th results.

Nonspecific: The kidney measurement is relatively normal and is essentially just given for reference.  The echogenic focus is somewhat nonspecific and could be many things (angiomyolipoma is one that quickly comes to mind). Without seeing the images or knowing if you've had other imaging, it's hard to give much more information.
