Very early: Weeks to months sometimes, the usual time is anytime after 37 weeks if u are worried call your OB cause if u are early they will need to check your cervix and do cervical length on ultrasound to make sure it is not thinning out or dilating too soon whcih can be treated but they need to know if the cervix is normal length or not.

Mucus plug remains: Throghout pregnancy  mucus plug blocks the opening of the cervix to prevent bacteria from entering the uterus
before labour mucus plug is expelled allowing baby to pass through the cervix during the labor.

A pediatric geneticist should examine the infant in detail and a chromosomal microarray analysis performed, if not done on the amniocentesis sample. Prenatal negative testing typically excludes major chromosomal defects, but not small ones. Good luck!

i am pregnant with my 2nd child an keep getting pus balls where my ears are pierced. this has only ever happened during pregnancy. what could it mean?

Immune system: When you are pregnant your body's immune system is less vigilant than normal so that you don't "reject" the baby growing inside you. The downside is that you're more susceptible to infections, which is what those "pus balls" are. Stop wearing earrings until you deliver the baby; that should solve the problem.
