i recently fit tested for a respirator and was told i may suffer from a superimposed obstructive pulmonary impairment? how can i fix this?

Need diagnosis...: Before it can be treated, you first need a definite diagnosis. You will need a pulmonary function test to see if you have obstruction in your airways and if it is reversible with bronchodilators or not. Your family doctor can order the test and then it will be interpreted by a lung doctor. You may need to see a lung doctor, depending on what the test shows. Good luck!

Like COPD: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary disease - majority of cases are due to smoking but there are few other non-smoking related causes. The first step is usually to quit smoking but if non-smoker, and your time is not improving with proper training, you need to see your doctor. Comprehensive health history and proper testing including Pulmonary function test will lead to the right diagnosis.

It is possible: Depending on how much IV fluids were given and the state of renal impairment, it is quite possible that pulmonary edema could result.

Not usually: Generally, COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) refers to a condition occurring in adulthood, usually from tobacco use, although there are some rare other contributing causes. Although we see occasional cases of congenital lung structural abnormalities (like congenital lobar emphysema), which can cause other  health issues like recurrent pneumonias, it doesn't seem to lead to copd.

Most of the calcific density is not removed.- benign

No quick cure: For this.  If it is calcified, it means that it has been there already for some time.  It is most likely old infection, such as tuberculosis, so make sure you get checked out for TB and treated if necessary.  Other infection or damage can cause it too.  You need to see a doctor in any event.

Active lifestyle: I would consider an evaluation of your immune system if the two prior pneumonias were significant (ie hospitalized or required IV antibiotics), or if you have had other infections.  Consider an evaluation of your lungs, as there may be a structural abnormality which is contributing to your lung issues. An active lifestyle will help prevent atelectasis.

Depends: So many variables. Not an easy answe for this. Genetics is one aspect, u'r environment is another-pollution-less the better, smoking, etc..; stress is a big one, u'r diet-should be low in salt, and u'r Body Mass Index should be between 19-23 ideally; exercise is important too, helping control u'r Blood pressure, cholesterol as is medications doctors prescribe for the condition.

Old infection: The site and type and shape of scar and calcifications are important. Old infections can scar and can get calcified. Tb is noncaseating and will look more like tissue densities and pleural thickening of the upper part. You are young and i don't suspect asbestosis nor cancer for that matter. I can surmise you are probably healthy and had an infection in the past that calcified.

could you have early emphysema with a normal ("unremarkable")pulmonary function test?

Yes: Occasionally COPD can be found on a ct scan even when pulmonary testing is normal - this is relatively uncommon.
