Like COPD: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary disease - majority of cases are due to smoking but there are few other non-smoking related causes. The first step is usually to quit smoking but if non-smoker, and your time is not improving with proper training, you need to see your doctor. Comprehensive health history and proper testing including Pulmonary function test will lead to the right diagnosis.
