See surgeon : Very interesting. There may be some residual inflammation from the surgery or an issue with an adjacent tooth. I would strongly recommend contacting the oral surgeon and inform him of this ASAP.

See your doctor: You need someone to look in your ear today. Although it might be wax or fluid it could also be a viral hearing loss. Your primary care doctor should be able to see wax or fluid, if not you need to see an ENT doctor.

Ear pain: Not unheard of. It was prob a tough extraction near your nerve.  Nerve has tract that runs back to ear.  Inflammed nerve takes time to heal.

Wait and see: It should improve with time.  If you notice it is not improving I would suggest seeing the dentist for an evaluation.

See a dentist: It's quite possible that you have a residual infection.  See the dentist who extracted the tooth. It's not uncommon for the adjacent tooth to be sore after an extraction.  It can also just be some referred pain to the adjacent tooth as the body remodels and fills in the extraction site. You could also have a dry socket.

No: Chronic ear infections are usually due to blocked eustachian tubes.  There is no connection between the two.
