Numb ears: You could trigeminal neuralgia, sensory  nerve compression or damage . Diabetes can also cause numbness. A cold or ear damage are other causes.

Tingling ears: Assuming you do not meaning ringing...Tingling ears possibly from laying on the nerves that exit the skull to give rise to sensation of the ear...If you mean ringing..Important to know whether it is dependent on laying down or dependent on sleeping..Laying down may increase pressure in brain...In prole with pseudo tumor cerebri or brain tumors this is not uncommon.

Sleep on right side?: If this happens only when you are lying on your pillow, be sure that your earlobe is not folded . Perhaps you need a softer pillow.  If you tend to sleep on the right side, this would likely be the cause for your problem. 
You need to clarify also whether the tingling awakes you from your sleep or noted only after you are awake.

after sleep a numb bottom part of my ear and lobe on my right side. no area on my head or face is numb. how long till feeling returns? what can i do?

Numbness: It is most likely you just laid on it wrong while you were sleeping. My bet is that it will be improved and back to normal within a few hours. If it lasts until tomorrow, or if anything worsens,  I would see your doctor.

If you must: I would expect full sensitivity to return within a few hours. Placing unusual focused pressure on certain areas makes the nerves quit sending location signals. They return when the blood flow returns to normal. Almost everyone has experienced this with a leg falling to sleep from position.

i get headaches, numb arms & ringing in my ears after simple physical activities such walking in mall, headaches usually go away after i sleep?

Vague: Could be some sort of circulation or neurological issues.  I would see a dr. Asap rather than wait to see if it goes away.

had lower incisor left tooth extracted tuesday. still having sharp pains in ear of that side and face/jaw still hurting. feels  numb after sleeping.

Lower incisor: There appears to be more involved in your mouth than just the lower incisor.
Call your dentist or the surgeon for a follow-up examination.

i sleep with my left hand tucked under my head. my hand goes numb during the night. if i keep it at my side it does not. it also goes numb when i am holding a phone to my ear.  also, i have three trigger fingers when i wake in the morning. that stops late

Don't Panic!: Usually numbness induced by certai postures is caused by some sort of "compression" on the nerve supplying that area, in your case probably is in the neck area. Change your posture in sleeping, do gentle neck stretching exercises daily. If no improvement in few weeks you must see a doctor.

i fell asleep asleep in a chair. woke up an hour or two later with a numb arm and hand that won't go away. it's been about one hour and has yet to diminish. i'm also experiencing painful swelling in front of my left ear, which i noticed before sleep.

Get medical checkup: Your symptoms of numbness may be related to pressure on the Arm nerves from an awkward lying position. They are expected to resolve by themselves..., so do nothing for one week.
If the symptoms persist, then you should get a medical check up from your PCP.

ok so i was asleep and now my right ear is numb??? and it won't go away how do i make it not numb

Exam: I would suggest an examination by a trained physician.   The most common cause would be nerve compression from sleeping on a folded ear or cervical ( neck) nerve issues: in wither case you must be examined and evaluated.
