Sounds like you need: A decongestant histamine to relieve pressure from the ear and nasal passages. Try taking Allegra d or Claritin d with nasal spray , chewing gums and yawning to help open up your eustachian tubes and nose.Also drink plenty of fluids preferably, warm to help you get better.

Doctor can recheck: Throat pain can be from a strep throat infection (antibiotics needed), a cold or influenza (antibiotics usually not used), or another cause such as irritants or allergies (especially spring time). Usually, one sees the doctor if the sore throat is bothersome, recurrent, or doesn't go away quickly (mainly to look for strep). Aside from primary care doctors, an Allergist or an ENT doctor can help.

Unlikely: Cancer is exceedingly unlikely,but an abscess within the tonsil might be, and could cause all the symptoms. I would arrange an office visit to see whats going on.

Don't worry: I'm sorry you've had a bad cough for 6 days. No need to worry about the ear popping back. As the congestion in your upper respiratory system resolves the pressure in your eustachian tube will come back to normal on its own. You don't need to do anything. Don't try to "pop it back". can cold sore or hsv spread all over body? i believe a kiss on face, neck, shoulders has affected me. it has now spread further down to arms, legs, scalp, eye, ear & more after 3 months and won't stop spreading. could i have an immune system issue?

It is a chronic low grade infection which causes minimal symptoms and no serious harm once it has entered your body. I have 2 recommendations: Quit imagining what the HSV may be doing to your body. Go see a gynecologist or a PCP who can periodically check you and assure you that you are healthy/well.
