i have bright orange/yellow watery liquid draining from my nose.  my neck hurts/head/ears  my whole face hurts.  teeth/jaw and so on.  what is it?

Infection ?: These types of problems need to be physically evaluated. Please call your dentist and PCP for appointments. Guessing at what might ail you will not solve the problem.

i have water in my right inner ear, hearing is muffled. there is discharge of clear yellow liquid for 2 wks. how long it takes to fully drained out?

Ear canal issue: Most likely it's an infection of your ear canal requiring antibiotic drops and cleaning. You need to see an ENT doctor for treatment.

i was dropping debrox into my ear to loosen ear wax and yellow liquid immediately came out of my nose.  is this normal?

Tympanic Membrane: Hi Charles,

It seems that the debrox solution is leaking from your external ear canal into your middle ear, at which point it is draining through your nose (see image). This suggests that you have a perforation of your ear drum, or your "tympanic membrane" and that's how the debrox is leaking through. I suggest you have a doctor take a look in your ear canal to confirm if here is a perforation.

ear wax is draining out of my son's ears. he is complaining of pain and "liquid" in his ears. he's had tubes. is an ear infection beginning?

Hard to say: If he has had tubes in the past you know he is prone to infections. This may or may not be an early stage of an infection. I can't make much of wax draining but pain is worrisome. I would give him some ibuprofen for now &amp; arrange to have it checked when convenient.

my ears have been plugged (never really went away) since last may! if i clean my ears then bright yellow wax comes out-how do i hear fully hear again?

Professional help: You should never put anything smaller than your elbow into your ear.  You need professional help yo clean the wax out of your ears.  You can do serious damage working blind.  Please call you GP or an ENT for an appointment.  You'll be glad you did, and a lot safer.

See an ENT doc: There is actually a communication between the throats and middle ear via the Eustachian tube, but ear wax coming out the nose seems to be a stretch.

Infection!: Infection of the ear canal, or a middle ear infection that has resulted in tympanic membrane rupture can cause ear discharge that has an unusual color and odor.  This is called otorrhea and needs an evaluation and treatment.

Can't say for sure.: Please get checked. You may have a perforated ear drum and an infection, which could require antibiotics.  The only way to tell is by looking at it.  We can't tell by a written description.

Needs checked: It could be an external ear infection, or a ruptured ear drum (from middle ear infection)--both of which need treatment to reduce pain and preserve hearing. See your Dr or Urgent Care for exam and treatment.

sometimes @ night, i wake up & feel like 1 ear is clogged.i can tilt my head and it will drain some liquid.after that it's unclogged. what's going on?

Wax: Most likely wax. Water may be accumulating behind and around the wax after a shower and drains later at night. Nevertheless, you need to make sure that there no rupture of the TM causing an otitis media with drainage.
