However, generally, most pregnant partners can continue active intercourse with a couple of major exceptions: 1) Active vaginal bleeding 2) Ruptured amniotic membranes. As the pregnancy progresses, positional variation for female/fetus comfort is advised.

Not necessarily: To be pregnant you have to be ovulating, if you were not ovulating when the semen entered then the change of pregnancy is almost nil, also people who are infertile may not be pregnant even after all the sperm enters their uterus, therefore there is no guarantee.
