Schedule follow up: Usually people are feeling pretty normal 9 days after a laparoscopic surgery. If you are still having pain then it is important to schedule a follow up post op visit with the doctor who did your surgery to make sure all is ok.

Need more info!: Abdominal pain can be an emergency to a mild problem. Let's begin by seeing your primary care doctor. I can't even recommend otc meds because: i don't know enough about your symptoms; i don't know if you have tried anything. The shortcut. See your doc. If you have none- a walk in clinic! but one thing. Pain near the belly button suggests a small intestinal cause!

Could be a hernia: Small hernias at the belly button can cause this type of pain. They are typically characterized by a small lump under the skin. Having said that, the belly button is the site of referred pain from the midgut portion of the intestines, and could signal an intestinal problem brewing, such as appendicitis. See your dr. If worse or persistent.

Left sided pain: Any urinary symptoms or fever?   Left sided flank pain may be a sign of a kidney stone (depends on your age)  or possibly a kidney infection.   Have you noticed any issues with your urine - darker or blood?    If so - could be the infection or stone.   Initially i would push fluids.  If no improvement - probably best to see your doctor.

Difficult to say…: with only the information available here. Obviously you have had multiple gastrointestinal procedures done in the past. Did they show any reason for your pain? Are you having fevers or chills? Are you having any change in your bowel habits or bleeding? If this acute pain is severe, I would recommend going to the emergency room.

Abdominal : Abdominal pain can be serious, so it is always a good idea to see or call your doctor for instructions on wheter or not you need to be seen in the office or emergency room. All doctors have a 24 hour emergency line. However i always tell patients if they are in excrutiationg pain they should present to an urgent care or emergency room. Tas far as your question, appendicitis typically causes right lower quadrant abdominal pain, however this is not always true, and may be caus e a more generalized abdominal pain.
