Left sided pain: Any urinary symptoms or fever? Left sided flank pain may be a sign of a kidney stone (depends on your age) or possibly a kidney infection. Have you noticed any issues with your urine - darker or blood? If so - could be the infection or stone. Initially i would push fluids. If no improvement - probably best to see your doctor.
