Very difficult: Its very difficult but can happen. See your doctor and get treatment quickly you dont want to loose that graft.

Not long: Keep the area clean; gentle salt water rinse in the extraction areas. Once the sites are healed over your risk is reduced to minimal

See dr for follow up: The amount pain will vary depending on how involved the extraction was and the type of bone graft you had. Although it is not unreasonable to still be in some pain 6 days after, you should consider contacting your doctor to adjust your pain management and perhaps come in for a 1 week follow up exam or call to review what to expect during healing. Remember to follow the post op instructions closely.

Yes: Some procedures can cause pain and swelling and for some people longer than others. Be patient and you will heal just fine.

1 - can dry socket still occur? 
2 - i wasn't given a syringe but plan on buying one due to stuck food. how can i properly irrigate without causing dry socket?

: Not common at all. You would have to dislodge the entire graft and clot to expose the socket, and the chances of that are virtually nil since you most likely have sutures holding the graft in place.

is it true that a bone graft accelerates healing after a wisdom tooth extraction because food can't get into the socket and there is less risk of dry socket? if so, why isn't grafting more common for easier recoveries?

: I was told to wait till gums had healed to make certain bone was OK under neath. Also may not even need an implant if you can chew OK.  Save some big bucks

Yes, but: Pretty rare.  Symptoms of dry socket are pain that is not relieved with oral pain meds or wakes you up at night, pain radiating to the ear and a bad taste.

my tooth hurt. so i got a root canal done, but it still hurts. i got it extracted with bone grafting. why does it still hurt? ialso got my wisdom tooth extracted the same day on the other side of the mouth and i have a dry socket there. whatshould i do?

Hard to understand: It is hard to understand your question... dry socket paste on gauze is placed after an extraction where dry socket has occurred... usually not a problem after a bone graft. Gelfoam can be placed in a fresh socket to act as a matrix for the blood clot. Please discuss your concerns with your dentist.
