Hard to understand: It is hard to understand your question... dry socket paste on gauze is placed after an extraction where dry socket has occurred... usually not a problem after a bone graft. Gelfoam can be placed in a fresh socket to act as a matrix for the blood clot. Please discuss your concerns with your dentist.
