Not sure: The string of pearls how we describe the ultrasound appearance of PCOS. This is an ultrasound finding and does not definitively mean someone has polycystic ovarian syndrome. Premarin (conjugated estrogens) is not a typical treatment for PCOS. Birth control pills, testosterone blockers, Progesterone like drugs and metformin are sometimes used to control the symptoms.

i had the merina inserted 2 weeks ago and the dr said i don't need to check if it is in place, is the string short enough so i can still wear tampons?

Mirena IUD: Most physicians will cut the string of the IUD at the level of the cervix, so it does not cause irritation to a male.  It would be difficult to feel in any case, and does not interfere with tampon use.  If the IUD were to be expelled or moved by uterine contractions into the cervical canal, you would have pain and bleeding, and should see your gyn physician.

Either, but: The tampon cannot get lost in the vagina, if you are able to insert you fingers and feel the tampon, then you may be able to remove it with gentle traction.  If you cannot get it to come out, then call your doctor or go the an urgent care - the ED at a hospital will be able to remove it, but that may be quite expensive.

i've noticed certain foods give me diarrhea for a day or 2, then mucus & sometimes v.slight bright string of blood, then fine.what can i expect at dr?

I think there may be: a couple of explanations. You may have been exposed to a food bacteria experiencing only mild symptoms of food poisoning. OR your mucus/mildly bloody stool could be an allergic reaction to the food. Either case suggests a visit/evaluation by your Doctor. Expect stool cultures, possibly blood work. I would put my money on recurring food allergy/sensitivity which, hopefully, tests will identify.

Treatable: Ringworms are treatable and can be eradicated with proper treatment and most of the time only topical treatment is necessary. You have to have the right diagnosis to do so. So go to  your md and get examined and treated.

Feel string @cervix: It is recommended to check the string after each menstrual cycle. You need to place one finger gently into your vagina, touch your cervix, and feel for the string. It should feel like a fine piece of fishing line. If you can't feel it, check with your gynecologist.

Need more info: If  all of your poops are thin and stringy, you need to get checked. If you had only one poop that  seemed to have something like a brown string but you are fine now, it is most likely something you ate.

 If this experience of a brown string keeps on happening, someone needs to make sure you don't have parasites or something blocking your poops so that they are thinner.
