i had ucl repair of my right thumb and a1 pulley release of right thumb, but still have pain and popping, what could be possible cause?

Unfortunately: a "failed" repair is a possibility. You should , however, have another attempt at splinting,steroid injection , and Hand Therapy before undergoing a second surgery. Seek out a second opinion (from a Board Certified HAND surgeon)

3 days out: is early into the recovery period for this trigger finger surgery.  I would certainly think some swelling and numbness would not be unexpected... probably for a couple more weeks. Your surgeon should have provided some post-procedure information/instructions. If pain/swelling/numbness increase or you have other questions, contact your surgeon. Good wishes:)

my dad has left shoulder subluxation, is it right for him to exercise with the use of overhead pulley as what his doc advised him?

It depends: It depends on which phase of healing he is in and whether is was anteriorly dislocated (most common) or posteriorly dislocated.

i had a hand injury over a month ago and cannot get my middle finger down all the way when i form a fist and it still hurts. i was told the injury is over a1 pulley and mri will not show what is wrong, will need exploratory surgery. is this true?

: I do not know about the hand but I feel it is ludicrous to attempt a surgery going in “ blind” without films . Even if they show “nothing” that will help the surgery. It can help prepare for the unexpected. The more information you can establish the better the result I believe
