Allergy or celiac: Wheat is composed of many individual proteins that could trigger a simple allergic reaction.For some, consumption might trigger hives or cramps, symptoms vary with the person. Wheat also contains gluten &amp; if it triggers IgA antibodies you may have a form of celiac disease that can mess up your gut. Please clarify the issue with your doc. The approach to treatment is quite different between the two

Yes: Especially in children. Many food allergies can be outgrown with maturing immune and gastrointestinal systems.  Most patients with diarrhea don't have a true food allergy (involving immune system response) as the cause.  Diarrheas may be due to digestive issues (e.g. Celiac sprue), intolerance, malabsorption (e.G lactose), infection (bacterial, viral, parasitic), inflammatory, irritable bowel.

Abdominal mass: This could be one of many things.  Although tumors are quite uncommon in children compared to adults, this is possible.  My advice would be to follow up closely with the pediatrician evaluating your baby.  It is unclear what other symptoms they have and also unclear where the mass is located and what other features it may have.

Need more info: Not all infectious causes of gastroenteritis come up on standard tests.  Did you have endoscopy? Did you have lab work? Did you have ct scan? Let us know.

i have an enflamed pancreas & havn't had diarrhea, til i took grape seed extract and turmeric. now i have black diarrhea, is that bleeding the extract

Blood : This may be due to upper GI bleeding, need to be seen by doctor to rule out GI bleed or some other etiology.

Likely allergy: This is likely a GI response to peanuts due to allergy. However some patients do have an intolerance to peanuts. The best way to tell is to obtain a blood test IgE to peanut. Either way, it is best for you to avoid peanuts altogether.

Yes: Diarrhea can be a symptom of gluten-sensitive enteropathy (celiac disease), but this is not a true allergy. In celiac disease, gluten (which is a component of wheat protein) causes damage to the lining of the small intestine, resulting in diarrhea, flatulence, bloating, vitamin- and iron-deficiency, anemia, and other problems. Some celiac patients do not have diarrhea. A blood test can diagnose it.
