can any doctor offten to a person that takes omeprazol (for inhibiting stomach ulcer), tramadol that has 10mg hcl?

Tramadol: is a pain reliever that has been used as an alternative to opioids. It has no interaction with omeprazol.  Tramadol can cause nausea, constipation but it does not cause severe gastrointestinal problems as NSAIDs can.  The benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. If concerned ask your PCP for more information.

rotator cuff tear. took 100 mg tramadol hcl 6 hours ago. it hurt my stomach bad. since its been 6 hours can i try switching to 2 extra strength tylenols? drs office or pharmacy isnt open yet to ask. help!

Tram. is not Tylenol: Tramadol (single ingredient Ultram) is not acetaminophen (plain Tylenol), which means if a person can take acetaminophen without problems, she should be able to take the acetaminophen without regard to when she took the tramadol. However, if she took the 2-ingredient combination (acetaminophen plus tramadol, brand name Ultracet), then taking Extra Strength Tylenol 5-6 hours afterward should be ok.

Hi. : Hi. I can't diagnose the cause of your symtoms and so i can't tell you what to do about them. But i will provide some information about tramadol.
      Fairly common side effects can include: "constipation; diarrhea; dizziness; drowsiness; dry mouth; headache; increased sweating; indigestion; mild itching; nausea; trouble sleeping; vomiting & weakness." these will pass.
     It is recommend that you promptly seek medical attention for severe side effects to include:  an "allergic reaction (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, throat, or tongue; unusual hoarseness); chest pain; confusion; difficult or painful urination; disorientation; excessive sweating; fainting; fast or irregular heartbeat; fever; hallucinations; loss of coordination; mental or mood changes (eg, agitation, depression); red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin; seizures (convulsions); severe nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea; severe or persistent headache or dizziness; slow or shallow breathing; suicidal thoughts or behaviors; symptoms of liver problems (eg, yellowing of the eyes or skin, pale stools, dark urine, persistent loss of appetite); tremor; unusual tiredness or weakness; vision changes.".

Drug test : As long as you indicated that you are taking this medication, and are taking this medication under a doctor's supervision, you should be fine.

Probably not: But if your treating a musculoskeletal condition with those meds, your likely less active than you were before, and that can make you gain some weight.

Usually not: Main side effect of any statin class of drugs is muscle pain and damage.  Any medicine can cause GI problems, so it is possible, but uncommon.  I am sure your doctor prescribed it for a good reason, so i would try to take it as directed.

It can...: Especially if mega dose, and/or taken on an empty stomach, or contains lots of non nutrient add-on, including herbals, etc.

Yes: Tylenol (acetaminophen) should be fine especially if it helps.  Run it by your doctor though.  Long term tylenol (acetaminophen) use is not recommended.

Back Pain: Seek out the cause and decide which medication you need. Both of these medications can make you drowsy and should not be taken together. All the best.
