No: Psyllium husk is pretty benign.  It works by not being absorbed by your GI tract so i doubt that anesthesia would have any effect (since it never really enters your body from your intestine).  Just be sure you do not take it too close to the time of the scope because you dont want any residual matter in your colon to obstruct the view of the scope.

2 scoops with 64 oz: WATER. Metamucil is not absorbed in the body but it adsorbs water  and forms bulk in your Large Intestine.  So you need to drink water- lots of water other wise you can very Hard stool

Fighting a fever: Fever is part of the body's response to an infection or other "insult".  Actually the body fights better when you have a fever although most doctors and nurses (especially) don't know that so they recommend paracetamol or other antipyretic. If you can "tough it out" it's better to have the fever- u will recover faster, but if uncomfortable u can take the medication to reduce fever.OK with psyllium

They should not: For the most part, dietary fibers don't really bind to much except good at holding onto water (thus softening stool) and so does not prevent absorption of nutrients. So don't worry, take your fibers. Most of us in the good us of a don't consume enough fibers. If you can, do it for better health. If you have concerns, consult doc. Good luck.

AS LONG AS IT IS: A non absorbable compund(which it is) and it is not used in excess, it should be fine.

Psyllium: Yes, you can use psyllium with these medicines, but i would take it separately from them so that it doesn't interfere with absorption.  Also, if concerned about weight, you'll need a more detailed plan than taking psyllium -- you'll need both exercise & healthy diet, eliminating processed foods with unhealthy fat and high-sugar carbs.  Talk with your doctor about this -- nutritionist can help!
