Why risk it?: There are appropriate skin cleansers for a variety of purposes, such as those routinely bought in the grocery/pharmacy and those prescribed by physicians such as for helping acne.   Lysol is designed for cleaning non-living surfaces and should not be used as a skin cleanser.  Human skin is not a counter top.

No: I wouldn't recommend doing that. The virus continues to live in your body and Lysol will not work. You can try Abreva over the counter. If the outbreak has been occurring for over 72 hours, you will need to wait things out until your body fights the virus off.

Maybe but no studies: Probably, but the information from osha about managing blood born pathogens does not include these products for cleaning. Professional lysol is appropriate for hep a, but not listed for b/c or hiv. The appropriate approach is to use bleach, but not as wipes, instead as a bleach solution. : There are better options than spraying lysol in your shoes. You may try antifungal foot powder, available in drugstores, without a prescription.

ringworm seems to be persisting and spreading with help from a teddy bear. teddy is old and fragile. can i freeze him to kill the fungus & spores?

Freezing won't work: No, the fungus could still persist. Either get it dry cleaned r better to discard it...if it truly is the carrier of the ringworm fungus!

: Bedding and clothing worn by a patient should be laundered with hot water and dried using a hot cycle.  Carpet needs to be thoroughly vacuumed.  No particular spray is recommended.

: Boric acid can get rid of scabies in carpet but it is very dangerous if inhaled , so you should discuss proper inhalation control  with your physician prior to use . I don't think it should be sprayed but rather just placed/sprinkled on the carpet with appropriate inhalation control..

can  i spray straight  vinegar in a room and it kill the mold spores it comes in contact with? or what can i spray that will kill them?

Accepted Answer

No: You will have to flood the room with vinegar and let it sit there to kill them.  The most important step is to stop the water intrusion then  remove all articles (drywall,particle board, carpeting etc) which have been contaminated by molds.  Clorox probably works as well as anything else in keeping off molds but you will have to be careful about exposure. Water=molds.

is corno virus 19 can stay on metal and plastic what about the soles of shoes ? 
would it be nessasary or good idea  to take shoes off at door at home and spray with lysol ?

Great Question: Not sure if you need to worry about your shoes, but it won't hurt. In my house, we take off shoes and outside clothes at the door after we enter. The clothes go immediately into the laundry, we wash our hands with soap and water, then put on "house clothes". Different from "public" clothes. We try to prevent the potential introduction of the virus into out home. Once inside, everything is clean.

Lysol wipes: try Lysol wipes.  You could use gloves and thus prevent direct exposure.  Talk to your doctor about therapy to control ocd.  Perhaps you could count the number of wipes daily and decrease to a good number over time.
