Possible: Hi, some people are at risk of developing Keloid, a scar that doesn't know when to stop, irritation of the area could increase that risk, 10% of people are at risk of developing Keloid and the risk is higher in people with darker skin.

Yes: A simple ultrasound of the area will help. You may have hydrocele, hernia, varicocele or combinations. Okay to get in for evaluation with your doc. Okay to take a friend or family with you and ask for the Ultrasound. Very likely this is treatable. Be well.

Scar tissue growth ?: Some scar tissue can grow much longer than a few weeks, and this is called a "keloid", which is common in darkly pigmented individuals, less so in light skinned.  These can be surgically removed, but even with steroid therapy can reoccur.

i had a d&c done for mym/c (12wks). continued to bleed and us showed a big blab of clot and possibly retained tissue. i have to have another d&c done tomorrow. how dangerous is it and how high are my chances to develop a scar tissue?

Exceedingly Rare: Even with a second D&amp;C, the risk of getting  uterine scarring is extremely low.

Doubt: If you have acne scars on your face, your hair folicles are most likely irreversibly scarred as well that will make it impossible to restore your hair. I doubt that hair transplantation will help, as the hair bed is damaged by scarring. I would just recur to daily shaving to level the existing hair with the skin.

had cut on arm several mo. ago. i do get thick scar tissue.  under the scar tissue there is a pocket of blood.  it has gotten larger over the past couple of weeks.  it is a little red.  what is causing this?  anything i can do to help it along?

?blood clot: It's possible that blood under the laceration congealed and former a bloody clot which has progressively hardened and may have to be excised.. Redness reveals a degree of irritation or inflammation and if it spreads antibiotic treatment would be needed. See your MD or a surgeon. Apply warm compresses.

Speak to your doctor: Presumably, if you have had a diagnosis and removal of a neuroma, then you've had a treating doctor dealing with your situation.  Discuss with your doctor the specifics and expectations of this diagnosis, as there are different types of neuromas.
