See below: There is probably not too much at this point besides trying to lie down and rest if the neck is really bothering you. Once you see your doctor, hopefully you will get a treatment plan that will help you.

Sciatica: is an inflammation of the sciatic nerve which runs from the buttock area down and around the leg. Surgery is a last resort. I suggest speaking to your orthopedic physician about oral or injected anti inflammatory medicines.

Hand numbness: The devil is always in the details....E.G, what part of the hand, which fingers, what position will elicit and what position relieve the symptoms....And more.  Nerves can be compressed in the wrist, forearm, upper arm, neck and shoulder region and at the root level.  I urge you to see a neurologist to make a clear diagnosis of where the nerves are being compressed, in order to treat appropriately.

i have a bulging disk at c5 c6 i also have numbness in my hand what fingers are involved for that location for a disk compression?  can it happen?

C5-C6: Is the most common location a cervical disc herniation. Symptoms are: weakness/pain in the bicep and in the front of the upper arm and wrist muscles. Numbness and tingling along with heterotopic pain to the thumb side of the hand.

: It means your back pain and radiculopathic symptoms (leg pain and numbness) are caused by L4-5 herniated disc. Please follow with your doctor for further advice on treatment plan. Most of these cases are managed conservatively with success, without need of invasive intervention.
