Yes/patience: You can continue your normal activities with ringworm. It is hard to spread without direct contact with the site. Cover it if you wish but it is hard to transfer casually. Lotrimin is an effective ringworm treatment if your issue is truly ringworm. It usually takes 2 wks for people to see much change. There are skin conditions which mimic ringworm's appearance.

The same: The lotrimin (clotrimazole)s (clotrimazole) you describe should work the same. Very common area to get a yeast infection, under the breast, i used to get them all the time when i was in my 20's there.  The medication in regular lotrimin (clotrimazole) should work fine.

Dermatologist.: Your dermatologist can help. Topical medications for ring worm include:  lamisil, (terbinafine) mycelex, loprox, mentas & econazole. There are also oral medications.

See a dermatologist: In office testing can usually identify any residual fungus.  If persistent, may need oral antifungal treatment.

It can get...: Irritated - be sure to use lotrimin (clotrimazole) ultra - it works much better that the other preparations.

Ringworm....: Is actually just a skin fungal infection - there is no actual worm!  it is best to use lotrimin (clotrimazole) ultra for a couple weeks.  Many other topical treatments take 4 weeks.

Yes: Assuming your diagnosis is correct  lotrimin (clotrimazole) is an effective treatment for fungal infections (ringworm).  However "ringworm" infections involving the penis are somewhat unusual.  Yeast infections would be a more likely fungal infection involving the penis and yes lotrimin (clotrimazole) would work for that too.

Tinea Capitis: or scalp ringworm is difficult to treat with topical antifungals.  It almost always requires oral medications.  See your doctor for treatment.
