Caffeine: Yes. Of course. You do not need a physician to tell you that drinking something that causes dehydration is the opposite of drinking water for health.

: Only by trying can you tell. Go to uptodate.com and read about GERD.  I recommend all with this put 4 or 8 inch blocks under the head feet of your bed. Gravity never sleeps. And if your BMI is greater than 25 getting it lower may help as well. Again gravity never sleep and fat pushing on your belly when you sleep can aggravate gastric reflux. Keep reflux diary.  Discuss with Dr.

Not too much but...: There is no consensus on how much water to drink but most agree it's wise to drink 1/2 to 2/3 ounce per pound of weight a day, so a 160 lb person should drink 80-107 oz./day. : Antidepressants can cause frequent belching. You should talk to your doctor for this possible adverse effect and one medication can be switched one at a time for identifying the culprit. Drinking 4-5 liters of water a day is too much, not healthy in the long run. If possible, you should cut it down to less than 3 liters a day.
