:  Do you add milk? You could have lactose intolerance. Extra fiber intake in your diet, food allergy, irritable bowel syndrome can also be the problem. Do you have a food allergy to coffee?  Consider a food diary, write down what you eat. If you notice the gas and bloating see what you just ate. Eliminate that food and the problem may resolve. Not better consult a provider.

Many possibilities: Pain under the left ribs can be caused by many things, including peptic ulcer disease, spleen problems, constipation, diverticulitis, pneumonia, and yes, gas. Determining the cause of pain in the abdomen requires a thorough investigation of symptom timing, duration, character, etc. Abdominal cramping after coffee and cream could be ulcer or gastritis, irritable bowel syndrome, a food allergy, etc.

It COULD: soreness under ribs is not uncommon with gas collections in the intestine,  but in underarm is rather high.  If your stomach is bloated, there could be a kind of blockage and drinking coffee would cause the intestine to be active and make the pain worse.  Avoid beans, cabbage, beer, chewing gum.  You should see a physician if this continues.

Different issues: The caffeine in coffee will help alertness but can make your heart beat faster. Caffeine can stimulate gastric acid secretion and cause upset stomach if you're susceptible. Any hot liquid stimulates peristalsis which can cause diarrhea. Intestinal gas is normal and part of being human. Social convention directs us to move away from people when nature calls.

Not allergic: Coffee, even decaff, contains organic acids that can be irritating to the gut. Some people ate more sensitive than others. Can also aggravate inflammation of esophagus (esophagitis), stomach (gastritis).  May aggravate other GI issues. See md if ongoing, severe, bleed, fever, weight loss, nighttime symptoms, etc.
