5+ years ago due to uterine cancer had total hysterectomy with ovaries removed.  im now having cramps for past month with no bowel or urinary issues.  possible causes or advice?

: This is likely unrelated. Uterine cancer is usually cured with hysterectomy. Surgery deep in the abdomen does put one at risk for adhesions that might bind intestines producing focal pain but cramps would be more likely digestive/gas/food intolerance or other issues. Discuss this at a visit with your doc. An exam along with your history will point the way to other testing or the answer.

: From my experience seeing a couple of urethral cancer cases, I agree that urethral cancer is devastating &amp; rapidly spreading by the time it's diagnosed but you're much too young to be obscessing about it. We don't know what causes it. Instead, if you're not satisfied with your current care, consult a urologist at a department of urology at a university hospital near you for a second opinion&amp; tests

Not usually one: Radiation dose from ct is about 100 times chest x-ray. However the exact number of scans to induce cancer is not precisely known.If ct is necessary for diagnosis it is very accurate tool. Most institutions have reduced amount of exposure in recent years. If same diagnosis can be made with mr or ultrasound, non ionizing radiation, they should be chosen.Certain medical problems ct is necessary.
