Depends: If you do not have fever, it is unlikely that you have blood stream infection. The bleeding may be part of the healing process. Granulation tissue may bleed if wiped with more than gentle touch.

Gentle wasch ok : Cellulitis  in scalp can happen if you scratched some psoriasis leasions and bacgerial infection got in. If you are on antibiotics and lesions  are healing - you can gently shower and us mild  shapmoo . Use clean towel every time to dry hair.
 continue topical treatment as well as precribed. Follow up with dermatologist regullary . Eat healhty low carb diet and probiotics.

No: Orbital cellulitis is an emergency situation with infection around and behind the eye which can rapidly destroy the vision and even can invade the brain or nasal sinuses which could lead to death.  You should go immediately to an er and have this checked out.

7-10 days: Once effective antibiotics are started for cellulitis there is usually improvement in 2-3 days.  It may take 7-10 days of treatment for it to completely resolve.

You : You need to find out the nature of your problem, and if truly cellulitis, get definitive treatment.  There are several other possibilities, such as contact dermatitis, that would also require medical treatment.

Seek care immediately at an urgent care clinic or emergency department.

No: Bacitracin is an antibiotic ointment which helps prevent staph and strep and other bacterial infections but does not help with fungal infections. Topical antifungals such as Clotrimazole and ketoconazole help with fungal infections.

Please : Please call your doctor.  Cellulitis is an infection of the tissues under the skin, although it looks like it is on the skin.  Because it is deeper, it can take a while to show improvement, but after three days you should be improving.  An antibiotic is chosen that covers most types of cellulitis when a patient is diagnosed with cellulitis, but not all antibiotics work for all infections, so you may need a change.  If you have increasing redness, red streaks, fever, or increased pain you must be seen as an emergency.

Complex Symptoms: Cellulitis is basically a visible inflammation (itis) of the skin and soft tissues (red, hot, swollen and tender). It can be caused by many things including sunburn (radiation), trauma (sprained ankle) or poor vein circulation (stasis dermatitis). It need not be caused by bacteria. Your complaints are way out of sorts from simply treatment for infected cuts.  A further investigation is needed.

Moist warm compress: 24 y/o female asks if bacitracin zinc and polymyxin b sulfate ophthalmic ointment work for eye stye? Not recommended. The best management/ treatment for stye is to apply warm compress/ moist warm clean  wash cloth on the affected eye for 5 to 10 minutes 2 or 3 times a day and at bed time. This usually helps to unblock the gland  (sweat or oil) which blockage caused the stye in the first instance.

Likely: Ceftin (cefuroxime) can work fairly well for simple skin infections however there are other antibiotics that may be needed for complicated skin infections.
