Spot fat loss does : Not occur naturally. By losing weight in general  some may be mons pubis fat.  But, we don't get to choose what area of body fat is lost from. Eat healthy ; be physically active. Calories burned must &gt; those consumed.

See your provider: It could be a benign simple cyst to skin abscess. Without actually examining it, it would be difficult to diagnose.

It depends on how it: The bump could be a number of different possibilities. If it is painless, then it is not likely to be a boil or infection. I do not think it is herpes as that usually will cause a blister , red spots, itching or pain in the lesion.
Anything deeper requires close watch to see if it is increasing in size over 2-3 weeks. If it is over 1-2 centimeter or growing you need to have  it examined by  doctor.

: It is possible, but unlikely to transfer the penile virus to your vaginal canal.

That all depends: on what the cause of the bumps are.  Some "bumps" can be from shaving - causing folliculitis and that is not likely to spread by touching it.  If the bumps are due to a virus  (hpv or molluscum) or bacterial infection, then it is "possible" it could spread, especially if you are scratching the skin on your stomach.   See your Dr to determine the cause, then a proper treatment can be discussed.

i have a large mons pubis and i really wanna loose the fat around there, is there anything i can do for excercise? i don't want to get surgery

Weight loss benefits: Diet, weight loss, exercise and time can get results for you. The fat pad over the mons pubis can be quite large, so be patient. As you lose weight and tone all your muscles this fat pad will respond, however it might not respond first or as fast as other areas. Good luck.

Biopsy: Topical anesthesia applied prior to injecting the local anesthetic will minimize the discomfort of the "needle stick". If topical anesthesia is not available, the local injection and infiltration of anesthetic causes some initial mild burning/stinging which lasts a few seconds and then the skin becomes numb where anesthetic was injected. No need to be scared at all, it is a fairly simple&amp; painless

Rashes: Skin conditions are notoriously difficult to diagnose by telephone and are best seen in person.

Shaving the genital area can lead to skin infections and on healing the skin may have a different appearance.  These can take months to years to improve.

why does my friend get pimples (they sort of resemble cystic acne) on her mons pubis? she gets cystic acne on her face too. she isn't sexually active.

Don't ask why: Acne needs to be managed. Nobody ever realy figures out why one person gets is and another doesn't. A good anti-bacterial wash (we used to use PhisoHex) can help prevent infected hairs in the pubic area. Cystic acne is extremely serious and usually requires isotretinoin. She needs to use benzoyl peroxide and get with her physician as she'll also need prescription Rx. Thanks for asking for her

Don't worry.: Hi Emalou,

Folliculitis is very common where there are large sweat glands and course hair like under the arms and in the groin area.  Bacteria get down in the follicles and begin to grow forming small abscesses.  They often are noticed in various stages of healing.  I believe that this is what you are seeing.  Continue to treat the infection with topical antibiotics or antibiotics by  mouth.
