No: There is an inverse relationship between PTH and vitamin d meaning that once vitamin d (called 25 hydroxy vitamin d) drops below a certain level, ipth starts to rise as a compensatory adaptation to ensure adequate calcium retention from the kidneys is made. So there is no parathyroid problem per say but just an appropriate physiological rise.Chronic PTH elevation is known to be deleterious to bone.

: Theoretically yes but practically this is very rare for it is diagnosed and treated. If you suspect you have it pl get checked. Taking supplements on suspicion of a self diagnosis is wrong

Yes: This would generally be in the case of severe or very low vitamin d over a period of time.  In such a case, the calcium would drop and increase the work of the parathyroid gland.

It depend what kind: The gold standard of diagnosis is the parathyroid immunoassay. Once an elevated parathyroid hormone has been confirmed, goal of diagnosis is to determine whether the hyperparathyroidism is primary or secondary in origin by obtaining a serum calcium level which is high in primary case, low in secondary cases.

: Hypocalcemia (low calcium level) resulting from severe vitamin D deficiency induces overproduction of parathyroid hormone, which is a secondary hyperparathyroidism.  No tertiary hyperparathyroidism.

: Vitamin D has no relationship to your pain complaints, and furthermore, you had these prior to taking supplements and still have them.  See your doctor and explore why this is occurring.

Possible: At your age (young) you should have bloodwork to check for specific markers. "bone pain" can be a complaint of deficiency but there may be other causes.

See details: It is not vitamin D deficiency. It may be fibromyalgia although one needs a more complete history and a physical exam to be certain. See a rheumatologist.
